Homework: Chapter 5 – Due Block Days 1/31 & 2/1


INSTRUCTIONS:  All blogs must be at least five complete sentences.
1.    Write a blog to Mrs. Q's prompt entitled "Homework:  Chapter 5" +55pts
2.    Write a blog response to at least one classmate +55pts

How does Victor react when his creation comes to life? Explain your feelings about his reaction to his creation. Were you surprised? Why or why not?

    Victor is like upset at what he did. My feelings towards his creaction is blank. why would someone want to do that in the first place? I actually was surprised because he was brave enough to do what he did.

    Victor talks about his creation coming to life. He ends up seeing and dreaming about weird things. Victor sees his creation it upsets him and makes him kind of go crazy. I don't know how a person can do a terrible thing like this.

    Don't you girls think Victor is being judgmental? Victor didn't even give his creation a chance to let him open up or anything. I mean doesn't that make you mad? It sure ticks me off. I also feel bad for the creation. I think he should have been given a chance.

    Victor reacts mad. He acts like he wish he never thought about creating Frankenstein. I think he over re-acted. I mean he spent a long time putting his creation together and after all his hard work, he's just gonna re-act like that? It doesn't make sense to me. Yes I was surprised because like I said he spent a lot of time on it and I thought he would cherish it in the end but I guess it didn't turn out the way he wanted it to.

    @ dottie- in a way, i don't think he's being judgemental, but everyone has their own opinions. and like you said, he should be given a chance. afterall, it was Victor who created it.

    I agree with Dotti . Victor should've given his creation a chance to prove he is worth creating . Maybe the creation could be useful in Victors life.

    @dotti ; I agree with you dottie, but at the same time who wouldn't run away from Frankenstein. Who wouldnt get scared of an eight foot, large built, zombie looking person? Because I know i would. And Victor was a "mad man" while he was creating Frankenstein. I think he was too close to the project that he didn't prepare himself for frankensteins awakening. And when it acutally happened, it slapped him back into reality.

    Homework: Chapter 5
    When victors creation comes to life he got scared and in-a-way disgusted at Frankenstein. He runs away into his room and out of his apartment just to get away from his creation. He becomes dissapointed and mad at how his creation came out. I think that Victor wasn't prepared for what could've happened when his creation came to life, which I think is completely wrong and "stupid". But my reaction was in-a-way the same way as Victors. I ran away in my mind while i was reading about how frankenstien looked during his "awakening". But that is because I didnt prepare myself just like Victor.

    Homework Chapter 5.
    To me victor reacted mad. Why is because he doesn't know what to do about Frankenstein anymore. When he saw Frankenstein he ran to his bedroom. He was scared and freaked out. It's like he doesn't care about what he created.

    I agree with Michelle. I agree with her because his mind is blank about his creation Frankenstein. It is useless to create something and just think nevermind about it.

    When Victor discovers that his creation comes to life he reacts by being scared,he runs to hide in his bedroom and is kind of disgusted by the way his creation looks.I think that my feelings towards Victor's creation is surprised.I am surprised because Victor runs away by his own creation thinking that his creation wouldn't turn out so bad.

    well i dnt think i was sleeping in chapter 5 [or was i?]anyways in this chapter victor finishes his experiment and is freightened by its look.so he runs to his house to hide from it.he shouldnt have' judged the book by its cover'as they say.he shouldve stayed and 'gave the book a chance to open up'.
